Cove Haven Resort

This place has now become our #1 favorite place to stay! My husband and I do a lot of airbnbs but decided to do this couples weekend with great amenities. We chose the Garden of Eden Apple room. And holy moly...it's the best thing ever. We got to go from the hot tub, to the pool, to the sauna, back to the pool...all without leaving our room. Everything was super clean and inviting. Room service was spectacular. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. The deer always greeted us warmly. We are absolutely going back in the spring or summer just to see a different side of the activities and such. I cannot say enough about how much we loved this place!

We went in winter so it was not as beautiful as I'm sure it is in summer. The outside of the buildings is not beautiful, but our room was terrific. We loved the fireplace, hot tub, pool and sauna in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room and bowling. I would skip the dinner, though the soup and salad bar was great. Breakfast buffet was good.

Stayed here 2/20-2/22! I honestly was a little worried with the reviews but honestly I had a great experience. Our room was nice and kept to par. (Garden of Eden Apple) The activities from our CXO Casey was awesome! Our only problem we had was at the spooners bar and our dinner server. It was the same person, they couldn’t pour drinks and their coworker was running around handling other guests (which is understandable). Besides that, it took 25 minutes to get my boyfriend drink. Then at dinner we had the same person, and then forgot to take my boyfriend’s order at dinner. I had to mention that he wanted to order. It felt like they didn’t want to be there or cared. The waitress we had the night before was amazing though! She honestly set our vacation up right! Wish we had her the whole time. The deer were so cute and loved feeding them! Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed for a couple of nights and I have to say this place is great! I brought my girlfriend and there were lots of activities for us to do. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast. The room was in very nice condition I was skeptical because I have seen some of the other reviews. There were no signs of mold or bad room conditions. Sure there were some scratches on the inside of the champagne glass tub but it was very clean. This place has been around for so long you must go for the experience at this point. 10/10 I highly recommend!!!

This resort is a glimpse into the past a little . To a time where people connected with one another instead of being digitally lost. Couples games and fun engagement between partners while meeting other couples and forming new friendships. Stacey at the front desk is wonderful and very accommodating. Gina and Desiree are fantastic bartenders that make the perfect balanced cocktails. . While George is a wonderful waiter with a side of comedy! The staff starts to feel like family ! You will see the same faces throughout your stay and it makes it so much more enjoyable . DJ Trexx is the resident Dj and he’s so much fun!! The entertainment isn’t always big headliner but it packs a fun punch and leaves you with great memories! Live bands , comedians, magicians, hypnotists, DJ ‘s , oh my ! This was our second trip in 4 months and we can’t wait for our July trip.

Absolutely wonderful weekend, from the time we checked in until the time we checked out it was an outstanding experience. It was very busy at check-in but the help kept it moving. Our room was very clean and it was extremely warm even though it was some of the coldest temperatures of the year(-26 wind chill). We stayed in the Garden of Eden Apple. Even though there were a lot of other patrons the room was extremely quiet and private. Dinner and breakfast we're amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The deer around the property we're almost like pets. At the gift shop they sold feed for the deer so you could get up close and personal to see them. It was a lot of fun.

We stayed in one of the champagne suites and absolutely loved it. The suite was charming and romantic with private heart shaped pool, champagne tower hot tub, and a dry sauna. The service we received was above and beyond. Every staff person was attentive and very nice. The food was very good, think classic American steak house. There were lots of fun activities to participate in and live entertainment. Get your buns over there hun!

It’s was our first time there as we were celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary. The grounds were beautiful as soon we came in we seen a ton of deer which was awesome since my wife always wanted to feed deer. Check in was ok your front desk person was not so chipper didn’t even welcome us and ask any questions but it was fine we went on our way. Went to our room which was the Champagne tower room was clean smelled clean but the room is a bit outdated but this didn’t bother us at all because we thought this add character to the room. From my point of view since I am in the maintenance field something’s that could need approvement some of the doors could use a fresh coat of paint some of the tile around the pool were cracked the faucet for the Champagne jacuzzi could use a bit of update but other then that the room was great. These are just my point of view other people may not look at those things as I do and I pick things apart in any hotel we stay in. For dining food was not the exceptional needs improvement and this was definitely not our favorite part of the stay. We had to leave the resort to find other dining experiences. We enjoyed Spooner was fun. We had lunch there on Saturday and food was better then the dining room. Your housekeeping personal could make sure the rooms are stocked well we never had housekeeping come to restock towels or even restock the toiletry we had ask the front desk for tp and your front desk personnel looked at us like we were asking for something weird. Checked out this morning and when I checked out I had the same girl who checked us in and didn’t ask any questions about our stay or anything. We definitely will come again but we now know what there is do and make sure either we bring our own food or go off the property and find great places to eat.
